Idea #6: Light Up Button Strip

Okay, so there are some pretty awesome smart phones out there. The iPhone has an accelerometer, so when you turn it, you can view your app in landscape mode. This is the same with Android phones. But with Android phones, the buttons do not turn. The buttons stay put, and can not change. That's how I came up with this idea. Im thinking of a touch sensitive strip where buttons are placed. This strip lights up different buttons depending on what app you are in. For example, if you are in a music app, the strip would light up the previous, pause, and next buttons. I call it the Jaw. Yes the idea has some problems, but overall I find it cool.

Scanned Photo of my Idea

I have been holding back on sharing this idea (since December 30, 2010), because it would require me to show a picture of what I am talking about (since this doesn't make much sense), but I decided now is the time. I saw this device: the Razor Switchblade. It has my idea. I asked a question on Yahoo Answers if my idea was good. Here it is: Where's a place I can share my ideas/ Is this a good idea?.
I made this idea along with my idea for a phone, the Sharktooth. I made designs for that as well. I had the designs on a piece of paper, but I am not able to access them now. So I have made them again. But they definitely aren't as good as the original. (No I don't work for Samsung, The Samsung Sharktooth just sounds catchy) And you really need to click on the picture to see its real value. When its sized down it looks bad.

Idea #5: Magnetic Hoverboards

So as said in my last magnetic zipper post, friction doesn't happen with magnets repelling each other. A maglev train uses magnets to lift a train up. So it would be possible for magnets to lift a human up. This gives us the idea to make hoverboards. I don't if this is already made, but it would be a cool exhibit in a place like the Franklin Institute.

Maybe we can make penguins fly!

Idea #4: Magnetic Zippers

Okay a zipper is a simple machine, a wedge. No machine is 100% efficient, so this would mean somewhere in a zipper friction is happening. And people epically fail and get zippers stuck, and eventually ruin their jacket. So I was thinking about a solution. For friction to happen, two objects have to touch each other. If you hold two like poles of a magnet next to each other, they repel each other. They don't touch, so no friction. This idea is used in a maglev train. It uses magnets to move.

Maglev train
So what if you can make zippers out of magnets? It would be able to come together, and separate by switching poles. Can this stop people from failing and ruining their $100 jackets?

Idea #3: Types of Posts

Okay now lets look at Blogger, the awesome service that's allowing me to do this. It lets you post! Now look at this blog. Most things are Ideas. But there are updates that are not ideas. For example, the introduction (1st Post), is not Idea #1. So I was thinking if you can have an option to publish a post as a different kind. So if I posted my introduction as a different kind of post, it would show up as a different color.

Since I cannot do this, I will just make all the updates, Update #?.
Is this already possible, or am I just giving out the stupidest idea ever?

Idea #2: Snowblowers Fueled By Snow

Its been snowing lately, and since we have a long driveway, everyone has to pitch in to clean up the driveway. A snowblower is the fastest way to clean our long driveway. Yet it runs on gasoline, a fossil fuel. What if snowblowers' fuel was snow? You could put snow into it, and it would turn that snow into energy to blow away other snow. All you do is add a little snow, and it blows away double what you put in.

Idea #1: Microphone Screws

Okay here is my first idea. Microphones shaped like the simple machine screws. This can be used to hold phones together, and provide input. I think it would be possible if the design of the screw was connected to the design of the phone. May be stupid, I don't know. What do you think?

Lightbulbs: An Idea

Well I have many ideas! Many! And I am not old  enough to produce them. I want to share them with the world... but no one really has a site about this. I made a blog about my ideas to provide me feedback. Since no one really follows my blogs, it is also an archive of my ideas. I will admit I am writing this very boringly, and I don't do that. To prove it check out my other blog: Randomness. Also, I tried naming this blog Ideas. of course the name was already taken. After a while, I thought of Lightbulbs. And the domain Lightbulbs was taken. So eventually I ended up naming it bright-bulbs.blogspot.com. So since I did this, it gave me a background color idea: yellow since that is the color of shining lightbulbs. Also it gave me special names so I can sound cool. For example I can call ideas bulbs. So welcome, and start reading!
+ I signed into my own accounts to make it look I had followers. Sad sad me. (And + means edit)
